This course aims to provide therapists with insights and interventions that can be helpful when working with individuals with autism to ensure that progress is made in a therapeutic setting. These interventions will be based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This form of therapy enables clients with autism to access therapy despite common skill deficits which may not align with other therapeutic approaches. Certificates will be awarded to participants who sign in/out and complete the course evaluation. Certificates are emailed within 10 days of course completion. They include: attendee name and license/ID number, course title, provider info, approval agency (e.g., BACB, CAMFT), date, format, CE hours, and instructor signature. CE credit equals instructional hours only (1 CE = 60 min). Lunch/breaks excluded. Courses must be at least 1 hour in one block.
